System Maintenance January 29th and 30th

Hood Canal Communications will be performing three different system maintenance and upgrade projects during the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and Thursday, January 30, 2025. Eldon North to Brinnon 1/29 & 1/30

HCC will be performing fiber system maintenance affecting Eldon north to Brinnon, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and Thursday, January 30, 2025. Starting at approximately 2:00 am each day, all services will go offline for approximately 2 hours. Most homes will have services restored by 4:00 am. The maintenance is part of a utilities reroute near the Duckabush Bridge.

Jorstad, Hoodsport, Skomish, Roadrunner 1/30

HCC will be performing broadband cable modem system maintenance beginning at 3:00 am on the morning of Thursday, January 30, 2025. Four areas will be affected while we do the maintenance: Jorstad Node, Hoodsport Node, the Skokomish Node, and the Roadrunner Node (see map). The outages will affect all services for a very brief period of time while we do maintenance. Services will be restored by 6:00 am.

Skokomish FTTH 1/30

HCC will be performing Fiber to the Home (FTTH) system upgrades beginning at 2:00 am on the morning of Thursday, January 30, 2025. The affected areas are the Skokomish Reservation north to Potlatch (see map). The outages will affect all services served by FTTH while we do the upgrade. Services will be restored by 6:00 am.
